During the World Cup
Pioneer Square will operate as a pedestrian zone during match days from June 11 through July 6. Expect rolling closures along 1st Ave South. The SDOT interactive map is the source of truth — check it the morning of your visit.
Skip the parking dance.
Beat the traffic! There are lots of transit options – some at no cost on match days. Keep an eye out for other events taking place in the area that may conflict with game days. Plan ahead!
Light Rail
SODO Station is a 15-minute walk to the Welcome Center. Stadium Station sits next to Seattle Stadium and T Mobile Park. Trains run every 6–10 minutes during events.
Bus
King County Metro routes 21, 50, 101, 102, 124, 131, 132, 150, and 177 all serve SODO.
Bike
Protected bike lanes connect the stadium area from the South and West. Bike valet is available on match days at 1st Ave S. and Royal Brougham Way. Please use bike lanes and follow traffic laws.
Commuter Rail
The Sounder commuter rail provides access from Tacoma and Everett to the stadium area.The Sounder commuter rail to Tacoma stops at King Street Station, an 8- minute walk north.
